Top notes are Pineapple, Orange, Lime and Blue Curacao; middle notes are Magnolia, Coconut, Gardenia and Rum; base notes are Coconut, Vanilla, Sandalwood and Musk. This year-round summer in a bottle opens with a tropical fruit melange of pineapple, lime and orange curaçao; sweet and tart. The gardenia makes its presence known immediately, spiked with a refreshing Magnolia Alba essential oil; their petals dripping of rum and creamy coconut. What Colada would be complete without a little extra sweetness from vanilla. A coco musk accord, smooth and sensual, alongside a delicate sandalwood digs you deeper into this tropical paradise. INSPIRATION: "Gardenia Colada is one of the few fragrances I’ve created that was born from a name first, rather than a concept followed by a name. I love gardenia and I always wanted to capture its essence in the perfect way in a fragrance. I also love piña coladas. They both scream tropical paradise to me. One day, while discussing rhymes and drinking a piña colada, I said, 'Oh, Gardenia Colada - piña colada, that’s perfect'. The name was not only fun to say, but it encapsulated a wonderful scent idea. I went through a number of different trials and versions of this scent and this final version contains my 'Coco Musk' accord made especially for this fragrance. It’s a happy smelling perfume. I just hope this scent makes you smile as easily as it makes me!"
