Fraganty is an open encyclopedic fragrance database providing information about perfumes, brands, notes, accords, and perfumers. Our services include a searchable catalog of over 100,000 fragrances, AI-powered perfume recommendations, community features, a public REST API, and affiliate commerce links. All fragrance data is compiled from publicly available sources for informational purposes.
Fraganty uses artificial intelligence (powered by third-party large language models) to provide personalized perfume recommendations through our AI Advisor and search features. AI responses are generated based on our database and should be treated as suggestions, not professional advice. AI recommendations may include sponsored placements from advertising partners, which are clearly labeled. We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or suitability of AI-generated recommendations. Conversation data with the AI is not stored persistently and is discarded after your session ends.
You agree not to: use the service for any unlawful purpose; attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems; scrape or harvest data beyond what is provided through our public API; interfere with the proper functioning of the platform; use automated tools to access the service in a manner that exceeds reasonable use; impersonate any person or entity; or transmit any harmful code, viruses, or malicious software.
The Fraganty name, logo, website design, and original content are the intellectual property of Fraganty. Perfume names, brand names, and brand logos are trademarks of their respective owners and are used here for informational and identification purposes only. Fragrance data is compiled from publicly available sources. Our database structure, API design, and original editorial content are protected by copyright. The public API may be used according to its documented terms.
Fraganty participates in affiliate programs, including the Amazon Associates Program. Links to external retailers may contain affiliate tracking codes, and Fraganty may earn a commission from qualifying purchases made through these links at no additional cost to you. Affiliate links are provided as a convenience and do not constitute endorsement. Prices, availability, and product details are determined by the respective retailers. Fraganty is not responsible for any transaction between you and third-party retailers.
Fraganty displays sponsored content and advertisements, including within AI-powered recommendation results. All sponsored content is clearly labeled as such. Advertising placements may include promoted perfumes in search results, sponsored cards in AI recommendations, and featured brand placements. The presence of advertising does not affect the integrity of our database or non-sponsored recommendations. Advertisers do not have editorial control over our content.
Fraganty is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components. Fragrance information, ratings, and community insights are provided for informational purposes only. We recommend always testing fragrances in person before making purchase decisions. We are not responsible for allergic reactions or any adverse effects from fragrances discovered through our platform.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Fraganty shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the service. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you have paid to us in the 12 months preceding the claim, if any. This limitation applies to all causes of action, whether in contract, tort, or otherwise.
