THE LEGEND Hidden in gloomy woods, a garden lies concealed from the world. Tended to by a powerful witch using the pale moonlight to grow healing botanicals and mysterious flowers. One night, a young woman travelling through the woods stumbles upon the garden. Mesmerised by the peculiar plants and the palpable aura of power they exude, she begs to be taught her secrets and the witch reluctantly agrees. Over the coming months, she learns from the witch, honing her skills in the art of arcane horticulture and as her knowledge grows, so does her hidden need for power. She begins to experiment with the plants, secretly breeding deadly and sinister strains. The vigilant witch swiftly uncovers her creations, scolding the girl and banishing her. In anger the girl wields the plants, turning them on the witch, killing her and claiming the garden for herself. As the years pass, a curse befalls the garden, growing beyond its boundaries consuming the surrounding woodland. But wanting more, the girl breeds a flower with an entrancing scent to lure in unsuspecting victims to feed her twisted creatures. Plagued by the rising tide of vanishing souls, nearby villagers begin to fear the garden. One moonlit night, a group of brave villagers enter the garden to stop her reign of terror, but as many before, they too fall victim to the garden's deadly embrace. Lost in her victory, the girl is oblivious to the betrayal by her own creations. Their thorny vines begin to coil around her, within moments she finds herself powerless against their might. Constricting relentlessly she is ensnared, trapped forever as they feed from her body. The garden remains to this day, created by wrath and greed. It’s dark beauty, a horror that lies within the heart of the cursed woods.
