On a bitter winter night, a lonely young man approaches a derelict mansion, its crumbling statues casting eerie shadows, a warning to those who approach. It stands as a monument to the villain who once inhabited its walls, marked by the unspeakable sins committed before his demise. With no friends, the young man devotes his time to studying the villain; a morbid fixation providing an escape from his own reality. Carefully climbing in through a shattered window, he lands in the grand hallway. Exhilaration flows within him, for the room is familiar, etched into his memory from haunting crime scene photos. He wanders through the labyrinth of rooms, eventually leading him to a forgotten bottle of cologne, still holding the villain’s signature scent, steeped in Oud and Pepper. Spraying it, he revels in its nefarious aura, before hastily stashing it in his coat and heading downstairs. In the study, the young man retrieves a Ouija board from his bag, He calls out to his departed idol, his desperation echoing through the stillness. A flicker of movement captures his eye and a presence fills the room. Yet, as moments turn into minutes, contact remains elusive. Disheartened, he convinces himself his endeavour has failed, deciding to depart the mansion's hallowed grounds. In the days that follow, a sense of dread approaches as he becomes aware of something shadowing him. Fleeting glimpses of a sinister figure invade his vision, and notes of the villain's cologne haunt the air. His grip on reality slips away, as if the spirit of the villain is gradually taking hold. No longer the shy soul he once was, he becomes a vessel for the villain's spirit, cursed to continue his sinister legacy and manipulated into carrying out unspeakable acts. His hands, no longer his own, become stained with the blood of innocent lives. Yet, perhaps this is a happy ending, for he will never be alone again.
