Winter 25 by Ffern is a Citrus Aromatic fragrance for women and men. This is a new fragrance. Winter 25 was launched in 2024. The nose behind this fragrance is Elodie Durande. Top notes are Lemon, Pink Pepper, Bitter Orange, Green Mandarin, Peppermint, Lime and Saffron; middle notes are May Rose, Bergamot, Eucalyptus, Neroli and Palmarosa; base notes are Rock rose, Lavender, Red Cedar, Vetiver and Jasmine Sambac. Snick, sweep, smooth-sharp, flow. The ice is an extension of the sky, stretching away from thin blades to a distant shore. A golden moon is rising, its glimmer catching the surface. For Winter 25, we have imagined a figure skating through this moonlit landscape of wild ice and frozen forests. The notes revealing themselves as she glides. First, the cold. That clear, crisp burst that comes with the initial frost of the season. For this we developed a winter accord of peppermint, eucalyptus and lavender - harnessing the unique, nose-chilling qualities of these ingredients. Then, the fluttering snow, cold petals brushing a cheek, holding their shapes on the sleeve of a coat. Here we recalled Winter 24 and its bold central accord: precious and powdery Rose de Mai, blended with sharper palmarosa. This pairing was a great favourite with you, our ledger members, and we have loved returning to it: our rose amid snow. Foundations laid, we imagined movement, reaching for the dazzle of pink peppercorn and cool Sicilian lemon, like skates sparkling in the moonlight. But there is also something darker in our scene, the idea of a slumbering forest at night. For this shadowed depth we reached for saffron, with its almost leathery inflection. A top note, saffron’s amber spice coloured the opening as well as the heart notes - and we brought in brown-eyed rock rose to carry this element through to the base. As our skater brushes through the trees, the scent of pine rises, resin sticking to her sleeve. Red cedar and vetiver captured our sylvan element - an enchanted forest, limned in icy light.
