Vervé Softly Oriental by Prince Matchabelli is a Oriental fragrance for women and men. Vervé Softly Oriental was launched during the 1960's. Vervé Softly Oriental is a discontinued oriental fragrance from Prince Matchabelli's Verve collection, launched around 1960 following Chesebrough-Ponds' acquisition of the brand in 1958. The Verve line was one of the first product debuts under the new ownership and featured a series of light colognes packaged in simple glass column bottles with distinctive pastel-colored plastic dispenser tops. Softly Oriental was distinguished by its pale mauve pink top and was marketed as suitable for both women and men. The fragrance line was discontinued after only a few years in production, making surviving bottles relatively rare among vintage perfume collectors.
