Vervé Misty Lace by Prince Matchabelli is a fragrance for women and men. Vervé Misty Lace was launched during the 1960's. Vervé Misty Lace was part of Prince Matchabelli's Verve cologne line introduced around 1960 by Chesebrough-Ponds after they acquired the Prince Matchabelli brand in 1958. The Verve collection featured simple glass column bottles with various pastel-colored plastic dispenser tops to distinguish between scents, with Misty Lace identified by its true pink cap. Like other fragrances in the Verve line, it was positioned as a casual cologne and was discontinued only a few years after its introduction. Despite limited advertising and a relatively short market presence, the Verve fragrances developed a following among perfume enthusiasts who appreciated their well-crafted compositions within the accessible cologne category.
