Tabac Qinan by Hunayn is a tobacco-centered fragrance that explores the idea of tobacco without focusing on smoke. Instead, it aims to convey the warmth, depth, and atmosphere historically associated with tobacco through a blend of aromatics, florals, woods, and resins. Chinese green and black kinam (kyara-type agarwood) provide a quiet, grounding presence that anchors the composition and adds a sense of gravity and maturity. The scent develops through a bright, textured opening into a more complex heart and base. Citrus and aromatic notes such as tangerine, neroli, juniper berry, and black pepper introduce the fragrance, leading into a spiced and floral accord of saffron, nutmeg, anise, black cumin, and three types of rose—Taifi, Bulgarian, and Malaysian—that prevent the composition from becoming too heavy. The tobacco theme is built with Virginian tobacco, dhokha, tobacco absolute, and a silk accord, rounded by a touch of raspberry. The drydown is structured around sandalwood, patchouli, jade wood, frankincense, Sichuan cypress, and the kinam woods, resulting in a warm, earthy, and polished impression.
