Sciusciù by Maison Gabriella Chieffo is a fragrance for women and men. Sciusciù was launched in 2024. The nose behind this fragrance is Gabriella Chieffo. Top notes are Grapefruit, Bergamot and Lemon; middle notes are Rose, Ylang Ylang, Magnolia and Jasmine; base notes are Leather, Black Pepper, Patchouli and Labdanum. Collection 2024 opens to the dimension of enchantment, welcoming the Fable, coveted refuge from reality stepmother and inviolable shield against the perfidy and obscene cruelty of the world. The Fragrance that inaugurates this olfactory chapter is Sciusciù, the story of a girl who was the victim, out of jealousy, of a spell that imprisoned her in a fox’s body. The same body that violates the silence of the night, while the heart is torn by the regret of the past life and the yearning for the beloved, to whom it can never be reunited. But Sciusciù, though furious with torment, will not surrender herself unarmed to her predators, proudly choosing to be free and indomitable forever. The fragrance, a contemporary chypre, unfolds its essence with the opening citrus notes of lemon, bergamot and grapefruit that bind sinuously to the floral heart of rose, ylang ylang, magnolia and jasmine, closing on the notes of the labdano, patchouli, black pepper and leather. The packaging, the Maison’s elegant seal of identity, with its hand-made red cement stopper, becomes a material body that welcomes and protects. The visual of the fragrance was created by Gabriella Chieffo with the contribution of the Russian artist Alexandra Bochkareva, whose ability to represent the connection between human and animal subjects is really amazing. "Curled up on myself, I remember the last moments of my past life, before the spell imprisoned me in this supple body. I am the unconfessed desire of many and the forbidden passion of others. This body became a prison to wall alive my dreams and the thought of him, who was forbidden to me by those who dared to lay their gaze in the same eyes. They made me prey, but they did not tame me. Stealthy, the night wraps me in its silence, violated by my steps plush, red as the devil, glowing like fire. I am lava furiously covering the torment of what has been and that can no longer be, I am volcano erupting the memory of my gypsy hair in his rapacious hands. Shrewd, they say of me, as I flee from my predators, stunned by my scent like flies on honey. I will not surrender, hunted, to their lascivious hands, for I will be the destiny of my story, I will be the happy ending of my life. Wild and free forever."
