Scent of Aurora by Norra Norrland is a Aromatic Fruity fragrance for women and men. Scent of Aurora was launched in 2015. The nose behind this fragrance is Eva Henriksson. Top notes are Tonka Bean and Iris; middle notes are Black Currant and Mango; base notes are Cashmere Wood and White Tea. The perfume Scent of Aurora is a product based on the special Northern Swedish area in mind. The name Scent of Aurora comes from Aurora Borealis: latin for Nordic light. The very nordic part of the landscape is called Northern Northland which is Norra Norrland in Swedish. In the bottle one will find two parts of the fragrance: 24K gold and red glass pearls. The gold represents our living. Northern Sweden give work to a lot of people due to the mines and the forrest. This is our living and this gives jobs that makes is possible for a lot of people to stay in this part of Sweden. The red glass pearls illustrates a berry called Arctic Raspberry. Arctic Raspberry grows only in a specific flora which is found in the norther part of Sweden, this makes it unique for the area. The flower of Arctic Raspberry is also the flower of the “state” of Norrbotten. Arctic Raspberry is very rare and impossible to re-produce. It is unique. There is no extract made in the world to smell like Arctic Raspberry, therefore it would not make sense to try to compose something similar, instead the notes are sweet but not too sweet, as the berry.
