The nose behind this fragrance is Coralie Spicher. Top notes are Hibiscus, Pomegranate and Buchu or Agathosma; middle notes are Hibiscus, Vanilla and Ylang-Ylang; base notes are Smoke, Agarwood and Atlas Cedar. Rouge Karkade by Reserve En Afrique 1934 is inspired by North African hibiscus tea and desert evenings. It opens with tart karkade (hibiscus tea), pomegranate, and aromatic buchu. A heart of hibiscus petals, vanilla, and ylang-ylang leads to a woody-smoky drydown of Atlas cedar and oud smoke.
