Top notes are Lime, Lemon, Jasmine Sambac, Israeli Basil, Neroli, Sweet Orange, Lavender, Wild Orange, Pink Pepper, Damask Rose, Pink Grapefruit and Orange Blossom; middle notes are Jasmine, Patchouli, Bay Leaf, Cloves, Ceylon Cinnamon, Cardamom, Black Pepper, Ylang-Ylang, Ginger, Geranium, Pimento Seeds, Star Anise, Rosemary and Tuberose; base notes are Sandalwood, Orris Root, Java vetiver oil, Vanilla, Olibanum, Tonka Bean and Labdanum. Conceived to make direct and deep connections, this perfume motif has been an endeavour in creating nuanced, memorable tête-à-tête, eliciting mystical and serene notes. Its a story of re-incarnation this time around with Rising Mysore 3, an eclectic yet unique mix. Genetically designed to be made from substances typical of Indian heritage, it includes infusions from bygone millenia, of the Western and Persian influences. Upgraded with Orris root, and a combination of Citrus elements: Holy Basil, Hathkora Lime, Lavender, Jasmine, Rising Mysore 3 lends a zestful spicy opening, culminating in subtle touch of Damask Rose and prancing Patchouli on Sandalwood bed. The notes are kept subtly subdued here with down toned Potli (from Indian Spices lineage), making the whiffs soothingly calm and warm, with emerging violet hushed tones, and rising and blending, sweet, floral, powdery essence of the suede kind, having an impactful presence without overbearing. Iris intonations lift off the dry down in this uplifting scent, evoking a horizontal twilight scene. The best is saved for the last, deriving equally from eastern milky Sandalwood and southern spicy Mysore, even as it is laced with robust dark Indian Patchouli, manifesting in dainty dried down Japanese incense.
