Mitridate by Misenum is a fragrance for women and men. Mitridate was launched in 2020. The nose behind this fragrance is Paolo Romano. Top notes are Bergamot, Cardamom, Lemon, Grapefruit, Woody Notes and Camphor; middle notes are Jasmine, Patchouli, Musk and Sandalwood; base notes are Vetiver, Cedar and Amber. Mithridates IV was the Parthian King. During a visit by a Roman delegation, the local perfumers decided to make an exclusive gift to pay homage to the allied King. Thus the "Regalis" or "real" was born. It is said that it was so precious and expensive that Mithridates almost snubbed all the other gifts. The news went around the Empire and there was a talk of the "Regalis" for a long time. The wealthy Romans, envious, began researching and making their version of Mithridates's perfume. We offer you the modern version of the original ointment that amazed the world and that, perhaps, gave birth to the idea of luxury perfumery.
