Top notes are Lemon Verbena, Petitgrain and cannabis; middle notes are Vetiver, Berries, Nutmeg and Lichen; base notes are Musk, Mineral notes, Labdanum and Leather. "With Manigua, Ricardo Ramos represents the jungle in layers, as the writer José Eustasio Rivera did in his work La Vorágine (The Vortex), which inspired Ramos to create this perfume: a classic of Colombian literature published in 1924. La Vorágine was the great Colombian novel, until the publication of One Hundred Years of Solitude , and it remains as one of the masterpieces of 20th-century Hispanic narrative.
