Laban Arruz is inspired by Spain’s most cherished recipe: arroz con leche. Milk patiently simmered, round-grain rice, a cinnamon stick and fresh lemon peel, all balanced with a whisper of salt. Sometimes it turns silkier still—the soft touch of cream, the floral murmur of rose or orange blossom water, and a glossy veil of butter—variations on the same melody. This perfume pays homage to one of Spain’s best-loved desserts; its first written recipe dates to the 17th century. Four centuries on, that humble, celebratory dish still scents kitchens and memories—now translated into an olfactory language.
