Kumo no Koromo by DI SER is a fragrance for women and men. This is a new fragrance. Kumo no Koromo was launched in 2024. The nose behind this fragrance is Yasuyuki Shinohara. On the Tanabata ("star festival") holiday, the deities and lovers Hikoboshi and Orihime, stars in the sky separated by the Milky Way, are allowed to meet for one day only, where Orihime (the star Vega) gives her beloved Hikoboshi (the star Altair) the kimono she has woven for him during the long wait. Tanabata is celebrated with joyful festivities, with parades, carnivals, picnics, and colorful decorations - in honor of the long-anticipated reuniting of lost lovers, people write their wishes for the future on pieces of paper that are then burned, sending them to the skies where the gods await. Kumo no Koromo is a gorgeously full-bodied commemoration of Tanabata, aromatic and richly woodsy, featuring a rare specimen of Japanese todo pine ( abies sachalinesis ) with intensely earthy, sweet, and resinous tones. Combined with a collection of warm, spicy resins, pure kyara agarwood, and supporting woodsy notes of hinoki, cypress, and sandalwood, Kumo no Koromo is a perfect celebration of lovers' reunion.
