Kas Musk by The Perfumist is a fragrance for women and men. Kas Musk was launched in 2018. "Kashmiri pure Musk oil. Pure rose, fruits, and woody warm jungle; it is musk but doesn’t smell like musk (I know what you are thinking), so let me say this again, it is pure real musk but doesn’t have the harshness and the raw animalistic cords of musk or the barn civet notes. This is due to few reasons, one is the nature and the kind of musk itself, the second is the way it was made, and finally the age and the years it matured made it even better, much better. Personally, this is our own favorite musk oil and when we say that, we have probably smelled more musk than any human on this planet. The opening, is similar to the first nose as this kind of musk itself in addition to the way it was made, keeps a pretty beautiful consistent profile throughout the different phases. The opening is much more aromatic and sweeter, with hints of honey and cherry, Jasmin and patchouli keeping a rosy profile but yes, you feel the presence and the magic of the musk fully and completely throughout the whole phase. The dry down is tantalizing, very aromatic and smooth with hints of leather, chocolate, and vanilla. You still get the rose, but it’s light. We call it the night queen rose, and yet the musk is still dominant and present in its most beautiful harmonious form." - a note from the brand.
