Io Resisto! by Zanini is a limited edition fragrance released in 2024 in an edition of 20 pieces. The concept draws on the imagery of an inner fire and the channeling effect of music, echoing poetic lines associated with Paul Klee. The composition focuses on dense, resinous and smoky accords that create an atmosphere of ritual incense and glowing embers. The fragrance is built around a rich array of resins and incense materials, including boswellia (frankincense), Hojari incense, copal, elemi, myrrh, benzoin, dragon’s blood and onycha. These are deepened by oud, smoke and okoumé, with acacia adding a subtle woody nuance. Saffron introduces a dry, spicy facet, while juniper and yuzu provide a contrasting sharp, aromatic and citrusy brightness within the otherwise dark and meditative structure.
