Heures d'Absence is the first fragrance from Louis Vuitton launched in 1927 to mark the opening of the London store. The perfume is named after the Georges Vuitton’s villa. It was presented in a rectangular glass bottle decorated with a motif of a plane in only 300 copies. Later on, it was produced in another, thin glass bottle in the shape of an amphora.
