French Gallantry by State of Mind is a fragrance for women and men. French Gallantry was launched in 2019. The nose behind this fragrance is Karine Dubreuil-Sereni. Top notes are Tomato Leaf, Black Tea and Basil; middle notes are Oregano, Thyme, Sage and Laurels; base notes are Leather, Amberwood, Animal notes and Heliotrope. Fresh-aromatic-woody, FRENCH GALLANTRY could serve as a model of perfumed harmony. The vigorous freshness of tomato and basil arises on the intense notes of Laurel, Oregano, Thyme. The subtle combination of Kenya Black Tea and Clary Sage with Heliotrope offers a sensual trail, highlighted by amber and smoked woods. Guillaume Apollinaire wrote in 1915 in "The Three Don Juan" that "A well-born man is recognized by two qualities: gallantry and bravery." Much earlier, in 1847, Auguste Guyard declared in "Quintessences" that "The gallant women make lovers audacious."
