With its minimalist design and pastel tones, the Collection matières libres by Panouge Paris was born out of the desire of Creative Director Rania Naim to grant total freedom of composition to the perfumers. She has therefore chosen to work with Marie Schnirer and Patrice Revillard of Maelstrom leaving these young talents the opportunity to express in total freedom their creativity and fresh approach In addition to olfactory compositions, Rania also asked Patrice to draw the watercolors representing the four fragrances in order to express his other talents matières libres is thus a complete artwork. matières libres (materials in freedom) Collection is created by young perfumers, Marie Schnider and Patrice Revillard. Through unexpected, rich and raw materials, they have let their limitless creativity go wild. Each line carries the name of the two major ingredients composing it. Under the prism of art, painting, writing, music or cinema, the notes develop in total freedom. The Datura Amaretti declares a heady and sensual fragrance. Between the dangerous beauty of the Datura, whose elongated and poisonous flowers stand with pride, and the delicious and gourmand crunchiness of Amaretti. It is a bold play of contrasts and captivating textures creating desire, an absolute passion, Like in the movies. The sweet notes of bitter Almond and Cherry captivate and mesmerize for a better fall into the trap of the poisonous flower. A fragrance that leads you to a trap. Where the poisonous Datura flower exacerbates its facets of bitter almond and cherry to better seduce and hypnotize. Head: Mandarin, Cherry Heart: Datura, Ylang-ylang Base: Almond, Biscuit accord, Muscs, Cedar Carte blanche to perfumer Patrice Revillard: "I wanted to create a poisoned, addictive and narcotic flower. An evocation of the black legend of poisons concocted by Catherine de Medici. If Datura Amaretti was a movie, it would be “The Queen Margot” by French film-maker Patrice Chéreau (about the tragic fate of Queen Marguerite de Valois, a free and loving woman). And the material that would best represent it: Velvet.”
