Croatian Iris was created by Arthur Clay Emrick and Arthur Burnham. Top notes are Spices, Black Currant, Bergamot and Neroli; middle notes are Butter, Iris, Orris, Tobacco, Violet and Peach; base notes are Oakmoss, White Oud, Mysore Sandalwood, Ambergris, Civet, Hyrax and Natural Musk. Croatian Iris by Jinx Smells is an iris-centered composition built around multiple orris and iris materials. It opens with bergamot, neroli, black currant and spices, moving into a heart of orris pallida resinoid, iris, orris butter and iris absolute with violet, peach and a touch of tobacco. The drydown combines white ambergris, Mysore sandalwood, oud and oakmoss, enriched with natural musk, civet and hyraceum for a mossy, woody-animalic finish.
