Champaca Edizione Millesimata by Trussardi is a fragrance for women and men. Champaca Edizione Millesimata was launched in 2024. The nose behind this fragrance is Cecile Matton. Top notes are Magnolia, Freesia and Lemon Blossom; middle notes are Hazelnut, Praline and Champaca; base notes are Vanilla, Heliotrope and Orcanox™. Champaca Eau de Parfum Intense is a tribute to "first times" in childhood. It is a journey back to carefree moments and the part of us that will always remain childlike. It is the essence of sweet embraces and the happiness of Sunday mornings in Milanese pastry shops filled with the aroma of vanilla, almond, pralines, and lemon. In the top accords we find lemon blossom, magnolia and freesia, which give the fragrance a fresh, luminous, floral envolée. In the heart notes, perfumer Cecile Matton wanted to recreate this experience of gourmand joy by combining notes of toasted hazelnut and caramel brittle from the Praline accord with the warm and sensual notes of the millèsime ingredient from which the fragrance takes its name: the precious Himalayan flower Champaca, which is considered the symbol of happiness. The Champaca flower was obtained through a sophisticated extraction process called E-Pure Jungle Essence™ inspired by the ancient technique of enfleurage, which makes it possible to capture all the sensuality of its scent of bare skin. The latter is traditionally available only in its absolute version with an intense red color that is not very functional for cosmetic use. With this type of extraction, however, the Mane Flavor and Fragrance manufacturer managed to obtain a colorless ingredient with intact olfactory characteristics. In the base notes we find the round, dense notes of Madagascar Vanilla. Instead of the absolute, an extract was preferred that captures the heaviest molecules of the raw materials and offers great persistence. Finally, we find the powdery and creamy Heliotrope accord and Orcanox™, a synthetic molecule deriving from processing Clary Sage with chypre and musky notes and fixative properties. Cecile Matton: “Unwrapping candy rekindled in me the childhood memory of when I would secretly eat pralines. I wanted to recreate this magical feeling of wonder and delight when I tasted them for the first time. The fragrance is rich in delicious notes, such as hazelnut, and the sensuality of Red Champaca, an extremely rare and sophisticated flower.” TOP NOTES: Lemon Blossom, Magnolia, Freesia HEART NOTES: Praline Accord, Red Champaca E-Pure Je™, Toasted Hazelnut Accord BASE NOTES: Vanilla, Heliotrope, Orcanox™ OLFACTIVE FAMILY: Gourmand / Floral / Oriental
