Top notes are Aldehydes, Bergamot, Neroli and Pine; middle notes are Blue Lotus, Lily of the Valley, Birch Tar, Bulgarian Rose, Turkish Rose and Rose de Mai; base notes are Musk, Natural Musk, Oakmoss, Ambergris, Civet, Castoreum, Oud and Amber. Blue Chyp is an exceedingly vintage, Russian-style chypre draped in the most expensive, exotic, and indolic blue lotus available. At its core, it represents a timeless expression of the chypre genre - a historic stroll through Russian creativity that influenced the French perfume revolution. The addition of blue lotus and copious amounts of deer musk creates an entirely new interpretation of the classic chypre structure, resulting in a classic, aldehydic fragrance with a mossy and masculine profile that features prominent blue lotus and lily of the valley accords.
