"Black In Deep Red is the first perfume to be completed in the Rothko Series and is based on a painting that features large black shapes surrounded by red and a rectangle that showcases a number of different hues of red. To capture the austere rawness of this black section I blended a heart note of black agarwood and black pepper that forms an edgy dark accord running through the entire perfume. The lighter red tones of this painting act as the top note and I’ve used pink pepper, pink grapefruit and raspberry to encapsulate this vivid and textural pinkish red." - a note from the brand.
