Anthem by Manos Gerakinis is a Oriental Woody fragrance for women and men. Anthem was launched in 2021. The nose behind this fragrance is Chris Maurice. Top notes are Saffron, Lemon and Labdanum; middle notes are Rose, Cinnamon, Nutmeg, Geranium and Ylang-Ylang; base notes are Agarwood (Oud), Patchouli, Amber, Oakmoss, Musk, Vanilla and Sandalwood. Anthem is a fresh oriental fragrance whose inspiration comes from the Greek revolution in 1821. 200 years later, art conveys the values of the Greek revolution in a unique way and so the inspiration was based on freedom, bravery and independence. The fragrance with notes of labdanum, saffron (saffron), amber (amber) and oud tells the story of Greece that revolts and emerges through the woody notes of the East. Revolution as an internal and external approach unites two seemingly unconnected spaces, as they concern different senses, which, however, are addressed to the modern “revolutionary” man.
