Añoranza by Phlur is a fragrance for women and men. Añoranza was launched in 2019. The nose behind this fragrance is Gino Percontino. "Literally translated, this scent’s name means yearning, and it conjures the Havana that exists only in a dream—the air thick with mysterious anticipation, a rhythmic energy pulsing through the street, joyous laughter reverberating against the cobblestone. Defined by notes of mint leaves, jasmine, mariposa and rum, Añoranza is floral and fresh, romantic and glamorous, enchanting and mysterious. Añoranza owes its smokiest leathery notes to the ultra-rare vetiver bourbon, a high-quality ingredient that had all but disappeared by the 1980s, replaced by cheaper competing vetivers. Our partners at Mane reintroduced it in Madagascar, where its ability to grow year-round in poor soil—with no additives or additional watering—makes it a helpful addition to the local economy." - a note from the brand. “The salty element is my favorite part. It evokes dancing and sweating, being close together. This cool, mineral feeling that’s not masculine, but not feminine.” - Gino Percontino, the perfumer.
