Top notes are Black Cherry and Whiskey; middle notes are Cinnamon and Vanilla; base notes are Tonka Bean and Sandalwood. Florence, 1565. Behind the purple curtains of the Palazzo Medici, black cherries were placed on marble like forbidden rubies. Meant not to be eaten, but to be desired. Ruby Statement captures that same temptation. A deep black cherry opens in rich, decadent darkness. Intense, addictive. Vanilla and warm tonka unfold like velvet against skin, softening the darkness without ever making it innocent.
