El Maktoub by Maison Cataliya is a Oriental Vanilla fragrance for women and men. This is a new fragrance. El Maktoub was launched in 2025. Top notes are Caramel, Cardamom and Pear; middle notes are Bulgarian Rose and Cedar; base notes are Tonka Bean, Cashmere Wood, Vanilla and Ambergris. In the 17th century, the influence of Portuguese colonial trading posts brought great artistic, cultural and sensory diversity to the country, through the importation of new spices and the transmission of know-how. Thus the Iberian Peninsula discovers the ceramic techniques of the Maghreb, vanilla from Mexico and Tonka from Venezuela. These spicy and delicious notes inspired the El Maktoub perfume and its unique, warm and enveloping trail.
