Habdan vs Oud Wood

Habdan is widely viewed as an underrated Parfums de Marly fragrance with a compelling caramelized apple opening and solid longevity (6-12 hours). However, the community notes the drydown can become mundane and generic, making it a good but not exceptional choice compared to other PDM offerings like Layton and Herod.

Tom Ford Oud Wood is genuinely well-regarded by the community as a beautiful, unique woody fragrance that deserves its reputation despite hype concerns. However, poor skin longevity (especially post-reformulation) is a consistent frustration for the price point, leading many to recommend cheaper alternatives like Nishane Kredo or Thameen Carved Oud for better performance.
