Northern by Soulvent is a Oriental Woody fragrance for women and men. This is a new fragrance. Northern was launched in 2024. The nose behind this fragrance is Ciny Ye. Top note is Hawthorn; middle notes are Pu'er tea and Tangerine; base notes are Guaiac Wood and Patchouli. This perfume is the winner of award Art and Olfaction Awards 2025 . Inspired by the memories of winter in Beijing and the street stalls selling sugar-coated haws (tang hu lu), It is a recreation of childhood memories, celebrating Chinese New Year, with hawthorn and Pu-erh tea as its core, comforting and distinct to China. One of the top notes is hawthorn, tangy and sweet. The middle note is a harmonious blend of dried tangerine peel and smoky Pu-erh tea, creating a luxurious and distinct aroma. The base note features the earthy scent of patchouli, reminiscent of the delicate smells of winter, whilst the warm aroma of Guaiac Wood elevates the space into a serene, cozy atmosphere, evoking feelings of reunion and comfort. Northern was an Independent Category Award winner for the Art and Olfaction Awards in 2025.
