Underdog by Coquillete is a Oriental Woody fragrance for women and men. This is a new fragrance. Underdog was launched in 2025. Underdog was created by Luigi Marigliano and Rosa Vaia. Top notes are Grapefruit, White Wine, Vine and Bergamot; middle notes are Turkish Rose, Frankincense, Olibanum, Ylang Ylang, Tonka Bean and Benzoin; base notes are Akigalawood, Ambergris, Agarwood, Oud, Cedarwood, Vetiver, Tobacco and Musk. Underdog by Coquillete is co-created by Rosa Vaia and Luigi Marigliano through the brand’s contest initiative. The composition opens with bright citrus overtones of bergamot and grapefruit, accented by white wine, vine shoots, and a watery lake accord. A resinous and lightly spicy heart of Turkish rose, frankincense, benzoin, tonka bean, and ylang ylang leads into a dark, woody drydown featuring Atlas cedarwood, tobacco, agarwood (oud), Akigalawood, vetiver, ambergris, and musk. The brand frames the fragrance as a reflection on resilience and youthful determination, with fresh facets contrasted by smoky, ambery woods.
