Keman by DI SER is a fragrance for women and men. Keman was launched in 2019. Keman was created by Yasuyuki Shinohara and Rajesh Balkrishnan. Top notes are Rose, Geranium, Jasmine and Tansy; middle notes are Shiso, Yuzu and Cherry Blossom; base notes are Agarwood (Oud) and Cypress. "Keman is a ritual decoration which translates to a floral garland, and is placed in the inner sanctum of Buddhist temples. In this new DI SER offering, a creative collaboration between Rajesh Balkrishnan and Yasuyuki Shinohara, the perfumers create a monastic floral agarwood perfume, a true offering of flowers in a Japanese shrine. The perfume opens with notes of Japanese rose, geranium, jasmine and blue tansy. At the heart of the perfume are fresh aromatic notes of yuzu, cherry blossom and Japanese mint (shiso). The perfume settles on a base of agarwood and cypress. Reverent, uplifting and serene, the perfume evokes a sense of tranquility and hope in an increasingly chaotic world." - a note from the brand.
