Top notes are Matcha Tea, Brown sugar, Caramel, Syrup and Linen; middle notes are Marshmallow, Milk, Matcha Tea, Vanilla and Currant buds; base notes are Musk, Sea Salt and Skin. Clean Matcha by Overose is a gourmand-leaning tea composition centered on a matcha accord. It opens with matcha wrapped in kuromitsu (Japanese brown sugar syrup), caramel, syrup, and brown sugar, balanced by a clean-linen freshness. The heart introduces blackcurrant buds, milk, vanilla mochi, additional matcha, and marshmallow, leading to a soft, close-to-skin drydown of musk, a skin accord, and a touch of sea salt.
