Stratix by The World In Scents is a fragrance for women and men. Stratix was launched in 2018. The nose behind this fragrance is Mark St Marie. Top notes are Cedar, Bergamot and Lemon Verbena; middle notes are Amber, Carnation, Pine Tree, Oak, Woody Notes, Hay and Leather; base notes are Agarwood (Oud), Cypriol Oil or Nagarmotha, Patchouli, Musk and Oakmoss. "The idea for Stratix , a multi-strategy fragrance , came to me while donning my leather hiking boots, then traveling through a dense forest, but at that point Stratix was still not a complete olfactory idea that was worth pursuing. However, when I removed my boots after the hike, they soles still smelled of moss and earth and crushed leaves to the point that it unexpectedly approached a primordial amber note which touched me at my core. By sheer luck, at the same time I happened to be imbibing a post-hike electrolyte drink with a strong citrus wallop. That was the surprising final piece to my inspiration for Stratix . Thus, Thus, I have transformed eclectic real world stimuli into a wonderful fragrance. I have recreated the same feeling I had after my hike by using extracted 35 million year old Himalayan amber, cedar, oakmoss, oak extract, bergamot, lemon verbena, cypriol and real artisanal Malaysian oud from Agar Auga. I composed Stratix to be slightly animalic to evoke the animal instincts present in all of us, and it works." - a note from the brand.
