Top notes are Animal notes, Sea Notes, Blood Orange and Violet Leaf; middle notes are Cacao Pod, Tobacco and Champaca; base notes are Ambergris and Orris. "Brown Ambregris is very difficult to source, however my region in France is nearby the Atlantic Sea and the Celtic Sea providing our ambregris is very rich. I have decided to source locally to add a personal touch on the elaboration of this fragrance. For this project, my brief was to create a fragrance that reminds me of my homeland. A mixture of gourmand, warm and comforting notes, all at the seaside. The idea of chocolaty orange notes with iris and ambergris obviously came to me. A few hints of seashells and a pinch of sea urchin for a daring olfactory result. Rubis d'Ambregris is a matchless animalic gourmand." - a note from the brand.
