Rectina

Rectina by Misenum is a fragrance for women. Rectina was launched in 2020. The nose behind this fragrance is Paolo Romano. Top notes are Ambergris and Bergamot; middle notes are Rose, Jasmine, Patchouli, Amber, Sandalwood, Cedar and Palisander Rosewood; base notes are Vanilla, Musk, Vetiver and Tonka Bean. The name Rectina is very rare in Rome. Only three are known throughout the Roman Empire. The woman in question was a noblewoman who lived in Herculaneum in the years around 79 AD, the year of the historic eruption of "Vesuvius". Rectina became the protagonist of a noteworthy act of heroism: when everyone escaped from the volcanic lapilli, she sent two soldiers of the local Roman garrison to ask help from the imperial fleet stationed in Miseno. Few more lives were more likely saved from the disaster. It was known Rectina used a local perfume  made with a rose grown in Pompeii. This is her perfume and our homage to a great woman. The Rectina perfume of the Misenum brand is sweet with a spicy touch.
