Porthos by Frater is a Floral Aldehyde fragrance for men. Porthos was launched in 2022. Top notes are Pineapple, Aldehydes and Bergamot; middle notes are Lily of the Valley, Petitgrain, Lavender, Mimosa and Rose; base notes are Sandalwood, Tonka Bean, Heliotrope, Patchouli, Vanilla and Musk. Porthos , an eccentric scent on the edge of unsavoury, blends lavender Barrême (the finest and rarest of all the lavenders) with sweet heliotrope and the quiet growl of animalic musks. Aldehydes impart a mirthful sparkle whilst a touch of rose and fresh petitgrain add lift. A juicy pineapple note adds a touch of quirkiness. Creamy sandalwood, cedar wood and earthy patchouli meld with edible notes of natural vanilla and tonka bean for a fragrance that is soft, luscious, musky and eccentric.
