Black Saffron Absolu by Byredo is described as a more concentrated interpretation of the original Black Saffron composition. The fragrance opens with juniper berries and bright pomelo, coloured by a pronounced saffron note that gives the top an aromatic, spicy character. The heart combines black violet and Cristal Rose with a leather accord, introducing a floral-leathery facet that leads into a warm, woody base. Blonde woods, vetiver and a touch of raspberry round out the drydown, creating a unisex scent that moves from citrus and spice to floral leather and soft woods in an intensified absolu de parfum concentration.
