One day I was walking through winding ancient streets and came upon the fiore de campo. For 150 years, it has been filled with vendors selling lucious Italian fruits all arranged in beautiful boxes. Color, fragrance, and sweet flavor are everywhere. This fume is that experience. I've never made something so fruity gourmand. I use strawberry, mandarin, and black currant extracts for a wonderful realness. A touch of poplar like the crates that hold the fruits give the base a nice structure too.
