Marginalia is a fragrance that evokes the atmosphere of a quiet library, blending the scent of dust illuminated by sunlight, vintage paperback books, ink, binding glue, and Naugahyde. The composition aims to capture the nostalgic and contemplative mood of reading in a well-worn chair surrounded by the history and stories of old books. From the perfumer, "The dust stirs in the light as the heat kicks on for the first time in a year; the aged spice of vintage and antique books being cracked open for the first time in decades; taking a seat in a well-worn Naugahyde chair in a Brutalist library where angels may have walked, discussing love and their respective outlooks on the human condition."
