Worldwide, saffron is regarded as a precious spice—linked to red hues and a warm, spicy character. Yet saffron also contains a latent coolness. In this creation, KIRA deliberately explores that hidden facet to reveal a completely different olfactory experience—a bold milestone in the development of our ICY Collection. The idea stems from Bastani Sonnati, the traditional Iranian saffron ice cream, where the warm, spicy note of saffron is mellowed by a smooth, chilled cream. The interplay of hot and cold creates not only a unique scent but also a varied skin experience: some detect a subtle warmth beneath the initial coolness, others perceive an entirely cool effect.
