"Mary Cassatt was described by Gustave Geffroy as one of the "three great ladies" of Impressionism. At the Impressionist exhibition of 1879 Cassatt showed eleven works and in 1886 she presented two paintings for the first Impressionist exhibition in the United States. Only in one of the 306 paintings of her does she have the presence of the human figure, where she gives prominence to some beautiful Lilacs in a window." - a note from the brand.
