While still quite nice and nicely balanced, it suffers from weaker performance and inferior ingredient quality compared to the original, making it better suited for subtle office settings rather than a true replacement for Bat enthusiasts.

The r/fragrance community views Encre Noire as an excellent value niche fragrance with distinctive character, praised for its woody, cypress-driven composition and quality at its price point.
