Sumatran Ghaliya by Hunayn is presented as a contemporary exploration of the traditional ghaliya concept, aiming to respect its historical roots while interpreting it through a modern, global lens. The composition brings together materials from different regions, emphasizing craft and complexity rather than a strictly classical reconstruction. The fragrance is built around wild oud, woody accords of hinoki, hiba, and fir balsam, and a resinous base that is deepened with civet and ambergris. Luminous citruses, including yuzu, sudachi, kabosu, shikuwasa, and other citrus notes, introduce brightness and contrast. A rich floral dimension features tuberose, juhi, boronia absolute, hyacinth, frangipani, and broader floral nuances. The result is a multifaceted scent that combines woody, resinous, citrus, and floral aspects in a dense, layered structure.
