Northmen by Poesie is a fragrance for men. Northmen was launched in 2017. The nose behind this fragrance is Joelle Nealy. "Thor the warrior god, revered as the guardian of mankind, was the most popular of the gods and especially revered by seafarers. Many Vikings wore small hammer-shaped amulets to invoke his protection, for Thor’s hammer Mjölnir was invincible and could bring down mountains. We can just imagine the scents that surrounded them on their journeys -- the turbulent seas, ships built of richly carved oak sealed with birch tar, their protective leather gear, the permeating scent of the woodfire used for cooking.
