L'Elegant by MDCI Parfums is a Woody Spicy fragrance for men. L'Elegant was launched in 2021. The nose behind this fragrance is Irene Farmachidi. Top notes are Incense, Cardamom, Saffron and Black Pepper; middle notes are Sandalwood, Orris, Nutmeg, Davana, Honey, Cinnamon and Cumin; base notes are Agarwood (Oud), Myrrh, Cashmeran, Labdanum, Tonka Bean and Musk. This beautiful portrait of Mr. Sériziat by his friend Jacques Louis David in 1795 has inspired Irène Farmachidi to create this refined and complex fragrance, a bold blend reflecting the elegance and character of the model. The original painting can be admired in the Louvre Museum, Paris, next to the portrait of his lovely wife, also by David.
