The Grey Area by KINFOLK NOTES is a Woody Aromatic fragrance for women and men. Top notes are Lavender, Nutmeg, Lemon and Pine; middle note is Tonka Bean; base notes are Patchouli and Agarwood. The Grey Area by Kinfolk Notes is presented as a gender-neutral fragrance that explores the theme of boundaries and in-between spaces. Inspired by Virgil Abloh’s idea of the ‘grey area’ between black and white, the scent aims to express this concept through a modern woody and musky composition. The fragrance opens with bright and aromatic notes of lemon, pine, lavender, and nutmeg, combining freshness with a subtly resinous and spicy edge. A soft tonka bean accord forms the heart, lending warmth and a slightly sweet, balsamic nuance. In the base, agarwood (oud) and patchouli provide depth and a distinctly woody character, supported by the overall woody-musky family profile.
