Shams Oud by Memo Paris is a Oriental fragrance for women and men. Shams Oud was launched in 2011. The nose behind this fragrance is Alienor Massenet. Top notes are Pepper and Ginger; middle notes are Cypriol and Cashmeran; base notes are Oud, Peru Balsam, Styrax and Vetiver. Shams means “sun” in Arabic, and the supreme star is indeed the glowing hearth of the fragrance, the inspiration for its woody, leather-scented incandescence, its blazing accents, the golden color of the fragrance. And the Shams formula has all the density of a spell. The warm, amber effect – in a word, solar – reaches its zenith with oud, that powerful wood resin, animal and mysterious, that transports us to the land of Arabian Nights.
