It opens with aromatic basil, saffron, and aldehydes, nuanced by rose and orange, and sharpened with pink and black pepper alongside cypress. The heart develops into a warmer accord of cistus, cedarwood, red fruits, cinnamon, clove, orris, and orange blossom. In the base, patchouli, vanilla, vetiver, cypriol, fir balsam, leather, oud accord, white oud, and tonka bean rest on a shared foundation of sandalwood, incense, and sage, giving the perfume a dense and resinous character.
